7474 APP Steel Braided Hoses

I've wanted to change the stock brake hoses like for ages. Due to the price of the brake hoses, had to keep this project on hold. Guess the time is now . Better late and never. Of course my first choise would be the APP hoses. What so good about this brake hose.

APP Teflon Braided Hose(Mit Evo 5-6) APP SS Lines feature the finest quality stainless steel braided hose and stainless steel fittings. The use of such ridged, flex free materials is what improves braking performance and eliminates the spongy feel of rubber hoses. The use of 302 Grade Stainless Steel provides superior resistance to corrosion.

Meanwhile, the stock brake hoses are made out of rubber and would expand during hard braking and would cause brake fades as it'sa bad heat conductor. Brake fades = bad news. Brake hoses is one of the frist step to a better braking system. Of course we have caliper, rotor and brake pads as well. But brake hoses also plays a big role too.

Anyway, take a look at the comparison between stock versus APP. Not only the APP brake hoses looks much more cooler but it performs better too. Stock rubber brake hose APP Steel braided hoses.

Due to N1 racing ran out of stock. I went and got mine from KSP for RM: 560 and installed it at N1 for RM: 80. Lucky for me I still got some left over brake fluid or it'll be more expensive. For the brake fluid I'm using Motul RBF 600. After installing the brake hoses, the immediate feel was the brake is more responsive compare with the old rubber ones.

Damaged :

APP Steel Braided Hoses (KSP) ~ RM: 560
Installation (N1) ~ RM: 80
Motul RBF 600 ~ RM: 0

Total : RM: 640
