It's not a new boy band but a new group name. After splitting up from TEAMRICE. The 6 of us (Hazry, Pattaya, Napi, Ijud, Jason & I) have been team less. But that doesn't mean that we don't hang out together. We have been hanging out like how we used to do.
The usual talk cock session and sometimes some serious talks about mods. There are the occasional movie days and our frequent Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan Trip. The usual places.
One thing for sure at the back of our mind we wanted to come up with our own TEAM name. Believe me, it easier said than done. We do not want a name that sounds corny or straight from a cereal box. After months of cracking our heads, Hazry aka Mivek Boy finally came out with brilliant name "7~UNREST".
Why on earth 7unrest? It sounded like a bunch of dudes who have insomnia probhlem or something. Actually, at times we do have insomnia problems. Especially when we go for our "Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan" or if there's any game to watch.
Allow me to explain further, the reason why we picked UNREST as our group name, that's because we are always moving forward either in life or modding.
Why 7 not 6? We had invited a new member to join us. Now there are 7 of us.
At the moment we are still in the process of coming up with our team logo. Hopefully, the first prototype would be out by end of the month.
Anyway, our team's goal is not here to rival any other existing team. We are just a bunch of dudes who love cars, modding and life. Most importantly is the spirit of friendship.

A Brand New Day .. My Engagement day
I am sorry for the long absent. It's not that I got nothing to write, it's just that work is so hectic that I got no time to even update my blog. So I took a few moments to updates the most important event in my life. It's my engagement day.
Yeah!! You heard me my engagement day. It's the day I moved to another chapter in my life. It was a tiring day day. No matter how careful you planned everything , there's always that little set-back here and there. But in the end we manage to go through the whole engagement process without any hick-up.
The engagement day was on a Saturday, February 3rd. 2007. We started very early in the morning. Clean the table and arranged all the chairs. Somewhere around 11.00am the caterer came and drop all the food. By then guess and relatives start coming in. Lunch was good. Some of my close friends came (Marie, Hazry, Hanafi and Ijot). That's what happened when old folks gets together. They just love to gossips.
Around 2.00pm, everyone left for Seremban with all the gifts or what we call "Hantaran". This is more of a Malay custom thing.

I gave a total of 7 hantaran and she actually gave 9 back. Well, one of the hantaran is the engagement ring.

The engagement ring hantaran. That's the most important hantaran. The engagement proceeding goes on with both sides discussing how much is the dowry or "Duit Hantaran" from the Male's to Female's side. Then setting the wedding date. Once they reach an agreement. Then comes the tea time. Yeah!! more food. Did I tell you that Malaysians love to eat. Hahahahha
Now, I guess the gateway to marriage life is just already opened up for me to walk through. I guess everyone would be wondering when is the big day. One thing for for sure. It won't be that soon. Most probably by April or May next year.
Anyway here are some of the photos during and after the engagement..

The End Of A Love Affair
The title says it all. When it first started, it was like love at first sight. But like any like any love affair there could either be a happy or sad ending. I guess this love affair wasn’t meant to be.
When the differences can’t be resolved, then we better go our separate ways. Best we part now before things gets any worst. Like any fairy tale, it doesn’t always have a happy ending.
Two years have passed and I’ve a fair share of bitter sweet memories together with TEAMRICE Asia. It’s the memory that I will always treasured and cherished for the rest of my life. Yes, I can't deny it anymore that I'm leaving TEAMRICE for good. I had gave a very long thought and came to a decision and that is indefinite. It’s just something that I cannot resolve and better be left unsaid.
It’s time for me to turn to a new page. I thank TEAMRICE for all the good and bad times.
Farewell TEAMRICE Asia and I wish you all the best.
TEAMRICE no more..

Sometimes … Someplace
I looked back on my past
I remembered the years I cried
The jokes I laughed at
The things that I missed and lost
But, one thing that I’ll never forget
The day you become my friend
All the time I’ve spent with you
Puts a smile upon my face
I hope one day I’ll be with you again
Somehow, Sometime, Someplace
A friend will come and a friend will go
The season will change and time will show
But, one thing that will never gonna change; The Spirit of Friendship!
And I’ll be there for you
Sometimes.. Someplace my friend!

So Long My Friend..
Last Saturday on the 27Th. January 2007, we bid farewell to one of our friend and also a fellow TEAMRICE Asia member. The person that I was referring to was Jeff. He had left Kuala Lumpur and would be living in Kota Kinabalu for good.
Part of me was sad since we are short of another TEAMRICE member and also a good friend. But the other part of me was happy that he's leaving. It's for his own good. He was overwork and the job stress is getting to him. In fact he already got a new job waiting for him at Sutera Harbour as a chef.
I guess it would take some time for him to re-adjust himself back to living in KK and the scene there would much different compare to KL.
It was a quite farewell, the turn out was Hazry, Jason and me. We had a short chat and enjoy a few laugh before we say goodbye.

TEAMRICE New Year/Christmas BBQ
After been planning for such a long time, the dinner finally happened. It was at Dogg's house. The rain did not dampen the TEAMRICE spirit. It was a good turn-out. Loads of good food and drinks. Too bad we ran out of beer early during the BBQ.
We had a lot of good laugh and good to see the new and especially the old TEAMRICE member. Sharing some jokes and lots of laugh. I didn't managed to capture that many photos since I was having too much fun.
Overall, I am very happy with the turn-outs. It may not be as big as we hope it to be. But it's good enough.

Bobo the master molester doing this stuff. Becareful Marie!! Haze where are you man!! AHAK!!

The early birds .. hey where's the food!!

The 2 Sith.. Chris Teg & my TME

The Panda brigade : Hezz & Kevin.

The Panda brigade again .. Notice Hazry's newly painted side mirror..

This what happen when Bobo doesn't get enough sex ..ahahaha.. Jason,Bobo & Daniel

One of the happening table outside by the garage. Taken with flash

This is how it really look like. Romantic huh? Candle light and all ..ahahaha
I would like to thank Dogg and his Mom for all the trouble in preparing the food and their kind hospitality.

TEAMRICE Windshield Decal day..
I guess you have seen this sticker before on my car. Well, 2 other member decided to put the new TEAMRICE windshield decal. It was Hanafi and Hazry. It was really cool especially when 3 of us convoy back to Shah Alam. All with the TEAMRICE windshield decal.

Hazry's monster

Avang Hanafi AHAKS.. Monster

Haze Satria 40 & Darkside 7474
Hazry, Napy and I really hope that other TEAMRICE member would follow us and put their windshield decal prior to our year end dinner. It will be really cool and at least we can try to be more unified. Especially the seniors and other regular Carlos member Patayya, Zuhaili, Ijot, Jason, Victor, Daniel, Bobo, Adrian (once he have his car that is) and all TEAMRICE member.
It's a calling for all TEAMRICE to unite despite our differences in our opinion and feelings. No matter what creed/ race/ background/ opinion, we are TEAMRICE that's what matter the most. As long as we stick together, we should be okay.

My Sweet Love .. Nana
I guess the title speaks for itself. She is the sweetest girl I ever met in my life. You can say she is my heart and my soul. When she's not around I do feel the emptiness. She's like the air that I breath.

Eventhough she's like almost 9 years my junior. Her maturity is beyond her age. She keeps me online and my strength when I'm weak. She made me feel safe. Thank you dear for always be there for me. The poem is for you..
You ..
You feel with what your fingertips
would brush,with cocked brow
ravishing over painted lips.
You feel with what your gazing eyes
would see, with stolen glances
among the starlit skies.
It was you, at every turn,
with your soft heated breath,
enflames desire in which I yearn.
It was you, beneath the night
skies, who molded flesh against
flesh, becoming my guiding light.

What TEAMRICE meant to me?
I guess I've been kinda reserved on this subject for quite a while now. I guess it's time for me to speak up. Just a little bit of history lesson or a walk down memory lane.
Back then I got to know a bunch of guys who are very passionate about their Hondas and night after night sitting at this place called Carlos in USJ2. No doubt the group started small but I could sence the togetherness of the group. Eventhough, it's kinda hazy. Still no one had the idea of forming a group or TEAM. I actually told Hazry, Zoo, Dogg and Pataya about my idea to form a group since I had experience it when I was with DemonTweeks.
At that time Haze, Pataya, Dogg and me used to go what we call spending quality time during weekends. Like going to SS Racing window shopping (even though we have no money to buy anything), Midvalley, Mag shop at Amcorp Mall, Indian food, PJ Old town food court or just lepak in Doggs room browsing through the nett or read some mag. Talk about mods and most of the time talk cock.ahahaha
One day it just happened. Well, the idea of naming it TEAMRICE was after watching Brandon's EK9 V-Tec turbo in action. Dogg actually sent an email to TEAMRICE Hawai to get their permission to form TEAMRICE asia. Which he got the permission and TEMRICE was born. Pataya, was the fist to put teh sticker followed by Dogg and me.
The had it's ups and down due to different views and opinion. It even went through a major slump when some of us actually went to another group. To tell ya quite frankly, I personnally felt kinda hurt as the group started crumbling. Thanks to few die hard TEAMRICE we managed to form the TEAM again.
TEAMRICE is not just a sticker on the car. It meant more to me, It's all about friendship and togetherness. It's like brotherhood pack. I don't a fuck what other people think cause that how I felt. I will put the TEAMRICE sticker and carry the name TEAMRICE with PRIDE no matter where I go.

Jalan-Jalan Cari makan 03/12/06
TEAMRICE Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan 03/12/06
Sunday is normally a day to rest and spend quality time with friends or just relaxing at home. Another good thing to do is going out and look for good place to eat. Normally, it's either Japanese or Ayam Kampung for lunch. But last Sunday, Victor (One of our TEAMRICE member) had planned a lunch at this Raju Rastaurant in PJ. Basically, it's a nasi kandar restaurant.
The place was packed and that's a good sign, cause lot of customers = good food!! Well, we arrived there around noon I think, can't really recall the time we arrived there. We did this convoy thinggy, rendez-vous at Shell near Carlos and took a low drive through NPE and exited at the PJ junction near Chin Tar Motor (SS Racing).
The turn out -Hezz, Marie, Ijot, Victor, Adrian Dogg and myself . The usual makan group I guess minus Patayya. If that dude is around he'll sure tag along. But unfortunately, he had to go back to Singapore.

Hezz, Marie, Dogg, Victor, Ijot missing is me since I took the picture ;)

Finally I'm in the picture
My overall comment of the food and the venue. It's an open air restaurant. Nice location, kind of quite and clean. Although, the food was rather spicy for me but I truly enjoy the food. It was delicious, that's what matter the most. It's the quality.
We adjourned like around 3.00pm. Again I can't recall what tyime we left. Ijot , Hezz and I went to Sunway since Hezz need to send his Kancil to the carwash. Then proceed to ACE Hardware in Summit to do some shopping. It's not we building a house of something. Just look for some tools and stuff for DIY project and also car care product.
It was a well planned and spent Sunday. everybody went home with a smile and a slight dent pocket since we spent quite a bit at ACE Hardware.

Late Nite Escapade at Putrajaya
Well, some of the TEAMRICE member have a new hobby that includes me too. This hobby called photography. Unfortunately, my camera unable to match those belonging to Eryn and Zoo. Mine is just a small Digital IXUS 800IS while Eryin and Zoo both are using Nikon DSLR D80 and D70 respectively.
Those camera has more function and off course produced much better picture quality compare to my small lilttle camera. RM: 1600 versus RM: 4000 is no small amount. Anyway, what counts is the spirit. I guess one day I'll get my own DSLR one of these day.
Anyway, we have been toying with this idea going up to Putrajaya for photography session for quite a while. Due to time constraint and difficulties to get together at the right time. So we have been delaying it all this while.
Finally on December 3rd. we decided to go for it. The condition was perfect , full moon and clear skies. We took some pictures at the bridge and moved on the car park area by the lake. The background was spectacular and breathtaking. It was romantic but unfortunately, the people who turned up were all guys. The usual suspects Zoo, Eryin, Ijot, Pataya and me.
It was a bloody long nights and we took some good and bad pictures. Since we are all amatures and haven't mastered the camera's function yet. So was took it as part of the learning curve.
Infact we were having so much fun that Zoo, Ijot and I actually made a second trip there on the December 04th. We actually came home like almost dawn. Now that what I called enthusiasm.
Anyway, here are some of the moments and pictures taken.

Amcorp Mall Day ... 26/11/06
Just want to share some of the TEAMRICE gang normal weekend activities. Apart from the DIY stuff, driving aimlessly, sleeping at quite time alone at home. We also sometimes hang out together. Last weekend. We finally decided to go to Amcorp Mall. For me and Hezz the trip there is normally to go to our fav Mag shop.
It's been a while since I actually go there. We did some window shopping. Visit the toy shop that actually sells expansvice toys. They actually have a RM: 600 Predator action figure. It looks damn cool but the price just mind boggling.
Then comes the mag shop. I actually bought 5 D-Sports mag. All with some write ups on Evo. Tell you quite frankly, D-Sport is one of those mag that doesn't show cars just for the bling-bling. It actually tells you the technical aspect of modding and there's dyno chart as well. Knowledge is power guys...
We had our dinner there at Kenny Rogers. Good food and plenty of clowning around as well. I was doing the impersonations of Desmond N1 like the whole day. The best part I really sounded and look like him. It sure makes everyone laugh.

Clowning around session : IJud & Me

Desmond N1 looks .. Sort off

That's much better!!

Nana & Hezz

The after math .. IJud was so tired that he just doze off
It was a fun day. Lots of laugh and hopefully we gonna do it again this coming weekend. Weekend should be spent with friends. That's what I call quality time. AHAKS!!
